Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using I'note, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What I'note Is

I'note is an AI-powered educational study tool. You can upload class materials and PDF documents, and the app will generate notes, flashcards, quizzes, and AI tutor responses to help you study. I'note is intended for personal, educational use only.

AI-Generated Content

Study materials generated by I'note are produced by AI (OpenAI) and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. I'note does not guarantee the accuracy of any generated content. You are responsible for verifying notes, flashcards, and quiz answers before relying on them for academic work. Do not submit AI-generated content as your own original work.

Your Content

You must only upload files you own or have the legal right to use. By uploading content to I'note, you represent that you have the necessary rights to do so. You retain ownership of the files you upload. I'note does not claim any ownership over your content.

Acceptable Use

You may not use I'note to: • Infringe on intellectual property rights • Upload harmful, illegal, or offensive content • Scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract data from the service • Make excessive automated requests that place unreasonable load on our systems • Share your account or resell access to the service Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination.

Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans (Pro, Pro Plus) are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing date. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page. Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period. For refund requests, see our Refund Policy.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service, without prior notice. You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@inote.academy.

Limitation of Liability

I'note is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any errors in AI-generated content.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of significant changes by email.
